By accessing or using Lauds ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Lauds is operated by Lauds, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lauds is a web-based platform that enables churches and religious organizations to create, schedule, and manage liturgical practices, including prayers, scripture readings, and other spiritual activities for their congregations.

The Service includes administrative tools for church leaders to organize practices into plans, schedule liturgies, track engagement, and manage their congregation's spiritual activities.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service

  • Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or submit through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and display Your Content as necessary to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Lauds, Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our express written permission.

6. Subscription and Payment

The Service is offered through subscription plans with different features and limits. By subscribing, you agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan.

Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAUDS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
